Work on Error 0x800B0100
I have found this solution and worked on it since August 4, 2009. On all the errors that I have been able to work on with Windows Updates this one takes off the hat. I had to work on three different logs and learn how to be able to interpret each one. First was the CheckSUR log from the System Update Readiness. Next was the CBS log from a System File Checker scan. Last was Windows Update log. The latter never gave me any course or direction to follow in exact measure except for the error code. It was simple at first as I thought but found it otherwise later. In progression with the analysis of the logs it was more than I bargained for. Three days of research and self-study for interpretation of log files. But it did paid off after finding what was causing it. The resoultion was complex and I do believe that no one can be able to resolve it unless they are technically adept with the registry and command-line uses.
